VIDEO: Scott Quigg: If my next fight isn’t against Frampton it will never happen

SCOTT Quigg has said he both he doesn’t fight Belfast favourite Carl Frampton after ‘The Jackal’ faces Kiko Martinez and he defends his WBA regular World title against Paulus Ambunda it will never happen.

Team Quigg, including promoter Eddie Hearn have named dropped Frampton and expressed an interested in making a clash the Matchroom boss lables ‘the biggest fight either could have’ at this moment of time. Indeed Hearn outlined a December fight in Manchester and Summer Belfast rematch plan.

If Frampton claims the IBF strap on September 6, however he may retrain his sights on Leo Santa Cruz and breaking America. The Belfast fighter has stressed a desire to fight Quigg, but is not open to a rematch clause, stating he wants to beat the Bury fighter and move on.
