Victor Rabei secures second fight date

Following a hugely impressive debut, Victor Rabei [1(0)-0] will return to the ring soon.

The Dubliner has this morning been confirmed this morning for the Red Corner Promotions ‘Champions Elect’ card at the National Stadium.

‘The Chisinau Cyclone’ debuted at the same venue on a Red Corner card back in June. Here he took a real opening test, facing high-level English journeyman Chris Adaway and scoring a hard-fought and impressive points win in front of a notably large and vocal support.

This time round Rabei will fight in his second, and final, four rounder before a move up through the ranks as he chases immediate domestic dust-ups.

An opponent for the St Michael’s boxer will be confirmed shortly.

Joining Rabei on the bill are welterweight debutant Karl Kelly, the return of Allan Phelan, and light middleweight Craig O’Brien who takes on Lee Churcher in a BUI Celtic title fight, with more to be announced.
