Tyson Fury to earn unbelievable money tonight for Klitschko fight

Tyson Fury will wake up tomorrow a very very wealthy man.

The former Irish champion takes on Ukrainian heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko tonight in Duesseldorf for the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles.

The bout will be attended by 55,000 people at the ESPRIT Arena and will be screened on Sky Box Office, German TV channel RTL, and on HBO in America. All of this has added up to make a tasty-looking career-high purse for Fury.

It is estimated that the Manchester-born giant will earn a guaranteed €7million from the fight (£5/$7.5million), while Klitschko will take home an eye-watering €21.3million (£15/$22.5million).

While Fury has long said that he is not motivated by money, the cash injection will surely be greatly appreciated.
