Tony ‘Irish Psycho’ Bates ready to fight not dance this Patrick’s weekend

TONY Bates plans to be a knock out success on The Cu Chulainn fight night in Australia on Saturday.

‘Irish Psycho’ Bates takes to the ring for the tenth time and plans fight not dance on the under card of TJ Doheny’s St Patrick’s Day PABA title defence.

And once he deals with his Thai foe (name yet to be confirmed on Boxrec) Bates wants Australian Champion Qamil Balla.

“Training has gone great for this fight and I’m predicting a KO. I come to fight and not dance I’m feeling strong and ready to entertain,” Bates told Irish-boxing.com.

“This is the first of which I hope will be many fights this year. I have one next month and hopefully I will get an Australian title fight in June. We’ve challenged Qamill Balla for the OZ title. We are just waiting on a reply. It would be a great battle, but I think I will come out the victor.”
