Title fight change for Sean Creagh

Sean Creagh [8(2)-1(1)] will have to make an adjustment for his big fight this weekend in London.

The Tallaght light welterweight was due to have a second crack at the BUI Celtic title against Scotland’s Ally Black [8(3)-3(2)-1] on Saturday April 28th at the Brentwood Centre in Essex.

Unfortunately, Kirkintilloch fighter Black will no longer be in the opposite for Creagh but the Dubliner will still get a chance to fight for an eight-round title on the card.

Nigerian-born Idris Hill [6(2)-2(1)-1] was due to fight on the undercard in London but will now step in to face Creagh.

The match-up will be for a British Promoter’s Association International Challenge belt rather than a BUI belt.

The fit and strong Hill has been a staple of the recent MTK London shows at the Brentwood Centre and last time out was outpointed over ten-rounds in an extremely competitive bout with the Warren-promoted Sanjeev Sahota.

Killinaden 29-year-old Creagh last fought in February, defeating Belfast veteran Jamsey Gorman in a bloody six-rounder and overcame tough Hungarian Ferenc Jarko over the same distance in November.

‘Creaghzy Horse’ is set to emigrate to Canada later this year and is looking to get in some big fights, starting with Hill, before he leaves.

Creagh v Hill looks to be the chief support bout on the Johnney Roye-promoted show which will be streamed live online via YouTube channel IFL TV.

Siar Ozgul goes for the BBBoC Southern Area light welterweight title on the card while there are also appearances for Martin McDonagh, Ben Hall, Dan Azeez, Kaan Hawes, Spiros Demetriou, Sammy McNess, Richie Gray, Mitchell Frearson, Charlie Duffield, Ben Smith, Jack Healy, Georgii Bacon, and Zuhayr Al Qahtani.
