Three fighters added to Mick Conlan Homecoming Undercard

The Mick Conlan homecoming card next month has been boosted by the addition of three further fighters.

The Top Rank prospect returns home for his first pro fight in Ireland on Saturday June 30th when he will headline the SSE Odyssey Arena in Belfast versus Brazilian former world title challenger Adeilson Dos Santos.

A sensational undercard for the bill was announced earlier this month with Dublin super featherweights Jono Carroll and Deco Geraghty rematching, light welterweights Tyrone McKenna and Phil Sutcliffe finally meeting in the ring, Paddy Gallagher taking on recent welterweight world title challenger Gary Corcoran, and Tyrone McCullagh fighting for the BBBoC Celtic super bantamweight title versus Joe Ham.

This evening the line-up was bolstered by the additions of Irish prospects Gary Cully [4(2)-0] and Lewis Crocker [5(5)-0], as well as Sunny Edwards.

Naas lightweight Cully, who had hinted heavily that he would feature, will be fighting for the fifth time as a pro and the first time since February having had a date in Liverpool fall through in March. The Kildare youngster impressed at the Odyssey twice last year with good wins over Josh Thorne and Kane Baker. The rangey southpaw has been pushing for a step up to six rounds which will hopefully take place here.

Sandy Row welterweight Crocker continues to blast through all before him, most recently being brought into the third round for the first time by Scott James on the Carl Frampton v Nonito Donaire undercard last month. A similarly durable foe is hoped for here.

Finally there is also a slot for London super fly Edwards [7(3)-0]. The English fighter recently called out Paddy Barnes but was met with hostility. This week Edwards himself was called out by the deluded Prince Patel.

The trio join Ulster super middles Taylor McGoldrick and Padraig McCrory on the bill as well as an all-British welterweight fight between Johnny Coyle and Lewis Benson.
