Spike O’Sullivan-Chris Eubank Jr to be shown on Sky PPV

While it is not exactly surprising news, the Matchroom Promotions Sky Sports show at London’s O2 Arena on December 12th has been confirmed as a Pay-Per-View event to be shown live on Sky Box Office.

The card is headlined by Olympic gold medalist in a British and COmmonwealth title fight with Dillian Whyte. The chief support comes from Ireland’s own Gary Spike O’Sullivan who takes on long-time rival Chris Eubank in a hotly anticipated grudge match which doubles as a WBA middleweight regular World title eliminator.

Further support comes from Tony Bellew against Mateusz Masternak, as well as appearances from Kevin Mitchell, Luke Campbell, and Josh Warrington, with opponents and further fights to be announced.

Sky Sports executive producer of boxing Adam Smith said: “It’s a fantastic way to wrap up the year with some huge names coming together on a massive night of boxing. Sky Sports Box Office brings the biggest names and the best fights and this one promises to be a special night.”

Preview and analysis from The O2 will be provided by Smith and former world champions Johnny Nelson, Carl Froch and Jim Watt, plus a range of other boxing experts.

Sky Sports will be publishing booking information for Joshua vs Whyte – billed as ‘Bad Intentions’ – in the near future.
