Second Irish pro boxer links up with Pete Taylor

A second pro fighter has linked up with Pete Taylor.

Dublin heavyweight Sean Turner [10(7)-0] has been joined by Mullingar lightweight David Oliver Joyce in the Bray gym.

Rio Olympian and triple EU gold medalist Joyce announced his make to the pros today, joining Turner in MTK’s massive Irish stable.

The St Michael’s Athy boxer is known for his ferocious pro style and has turned to Taylor to hone it ahead of an assault at the upper echelons of the paid ranks.

Joyce and Taylor will be massively familiar with each other due to the Leeds-born man’s work with the Irish High Performance Unit with his daughter, amateur legend and current pro, Katie

A debut date for Joyce, who hopes to be fast-tracked, will be confirmed in the near future.
