Second debut for frustrated Aaron Gethins

Aaron Gethins feels like he is debuting all over again this Satruday night.
The young southpaw caught the eye on his real debut in Castlebar last December with a slick performance in front of a sizable crowd.
However, he has been left frustrated he hasn’t been afforded the chance to build on the positive start up and until now.
The Sligo welterweight appears on tomorrow nights Celtic Clash 8 card and can’t wait to step into the squared circle.
“I am delighted to be getting back into the ring after a frustrating wait,” he told Irish-boxing.com.
“It’s like having my debut all over again.”
Gethins returns to the scene of the greatest all Irish fight of all time with one the participants, Stephen Reynolds,  in his corner.
The Reynolds Declan Trainor fight of 2013 – a bout a young Gethins watched live in the same venue he fights tomorrow – has been brought up in the build up by the Sligo faithful, but the young prospect claims he feels no pressure to put on a similarly impressive show.
“People have mentioned it and it’s a great legacy to live up to but I don’t feel pressured I’m not the anxious sort. A wins a win in my eyes. I’d happily take it however it comes the better I preform the better for me.”
If Gethins was to involved in a Reynolds Tranior style war questions would be asked consider he faces journey man opposition.
However, Naheem Chaudhry is no push over and is certainly a tough operator. The Blackburn fighter has never been stopped despite losing 45 times and will most likely bring the Westerner the distance.
“He is a well experienced fighter, who has been very active in the last year or two. He will be tough and I am expecting 4 rounds.”
