Schedule and Live Streams for Commonwealth Youth quarters and Euro Schoolboys Last 16

Five Irish boxers are in major tournament action across the world today.

At the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas, Northern Ireland will look to improve their medal haul to five when both flyweight Kian Bittles and welterweight Anthony Johnston take to the ring in quarter final bouts.

Beforehand though, three more Irish boxers will look to move into medal contention at the European Schoolboys Championships in Valcea, Romania. Ireland already have a staggering 15 boxers set to fight for bronze in tomorrow’s quarter finals, and will look to add to that tally in South Eastern Europe today.

First up is Cahir Gormley in Ring A, who takes on Bulgarian Gabriel Paynarov in the 44.5kg division at around 2:30 (Irish Time).

Then it is over to Ring B at around 3:15pm for two successive Last 16 bouts. First Sean Roach takes on Turk Ersunger Goturk at 54kg before Eoghan Lavin faces Poland’s Kamil Urbaniak in the 59kg class.

Over in the Caribbean, Bittles is due in the ring at 6:30pm (Irish time) versus Guyanan Allicock Keevin. Johnston is then due in at 11:45 against Samoan Ah Tong Marion

A stream will be provided closer to the time, with the Official Games Facebook page usually providing live coverage, while there has also been a dedicated boxing page created recently.

However, the Belfast Boxers fan page has so far provided the most reliable streams throughout the tournament.
