Ray Moylette handed date for final six rounder

Ray Moylette‘s rapid progression through the ranks will continue this month in England.

The Mayo lightweight has fought and won seven times since March and will ready himself for another step up in two weeks time.

27 year old Moylette [7(3)-0] has been confirmed for a card on Saturday October 28th at Villa Park in Birmingham in what will be his fourth and final six rounder.

The Tommy Owens-promoted card is headlined by a BBBoC Midlands Area lightweight title fight between Charlie Williams and Nathan Kirk, with Moylette acting as the chief support.

An opponent for the Celtic Warriors fighter will be confirmed shortly.

Assassin Boxing boss Kaz Evans described how “Ray has progressed brilliantly over the past seven months since turning pro. A lot of his fights have been away from home but it’s brilliant that he now has the chance to showcase his talents and show what he’s learned, a bit closer to home. It’s another learning fighting, and it will be a big step up for him. I’m also really excited to see Ray fight at a unique stage, at Villa Park Football Stadium, in The Holte Suite.”

It’s another quick turnaround for Moylette who fought twice last month on the U.S. East Coast. The bout will be his second in England following his London debut win in March.

Also featuring on the card at the end of the month will be Jordan Lynch, Carl Dickens, Tony Jones, Michael Green, Luke Beasley, and David Seymour.
