Quigley looks to hit next opponent for 6

Donegal’s Golden Boy Jason Quigley will make the step up to six round fights for the first time on July 11th as his career looks to move to the next level.

So far in his professional career, the Ballybofey middleweight has had six four rounders, winning all inside the distance. Quigley will be aiming for another early night in his next fight but the increase in the scheduled distance is an indicator of the progress the former elite amateur is making.

Quigley’s bout is on the undercard of a Los Angeles show headlined by former world title challenger, Mauricio Herrera, who faces Henry Lundy for the NABF light welterweight title.

That fight will be shown on HBO and, while it is unclear whether Quigley’s clash will be televised, the 24 year old will be topping television bills soon enough if he continues to blast through all his opponents.
