O’Sullivan: My time will come I will get the chance to Spank Daddy’s boy Eubank

AS soon as he settled his difference with domestic rival Anthony Fitzgerald, Gary O’Sullivan set his sights on another grudge match with Chris Eubank Jr.

The Cork middleweight offered to fight the English prospect once he heard the son of Chris Eubank Jr had secured a February fight date.

However, Eubank Jr, whose last outing was a defeat to Billy Joe Saunders, has secured a WBA interim World title shot and fights Dmitry Chudinov for the strap in London on a card that former Irish champion Tyson Fury also competes on.

However, O’Sullivan isn’t to deterred and claims he will bide his time, knowing he will get the chance to ‘Spank’ the 16-1 fighter.

“I’ll spank Daddy’s boy like Steve Collins spanked his father in Millstreet and Páirc Uí Chaoimh back in the day. I want him badly but I’m prepared to wait. My time will come. It is a disadvantage that I am not tied down promotionally in some ways because people see fighting me as too risky and I don’t get on the good promoters’ shows against their house fighters,” O’Sullivan told the Cork Echo before promising a massive 2015.

“On the other hand, as a free agent, I am a promoter’s dream because they can add me to a card at any time. I won’t let anyone down in 2015. It’s my time. I’m ready to explode.”
