The World is Carl Frampton’s oyster following his sensational WBA featherweight title win against Mexican-American star Leo Santa Cruz.

‘The Jackal’ went from European ‘opponent’ to one of the hottest properties in boxing in under an hour on Saturday night with the win over Santa Cruz in New York, and the Belfast man now seems destined for further big fights, both at home and in America.

Paddy Power are already looking ahead and have priced up the Irishman’s chances against a number of top names.

The pendulum has predictably swung and Frampton is now close favourite to win a rematch with Santa Cruz at 4/5. El Terremoto has drifted to 11/10, while the draw is at 18/1.

A unification with IBF champ Lee Selby would is the definition of a pick ’em with both boxers priced at 10/11, with 18/1 for the draw.

However Frampton would be an outsider if he sought to unify against WBC champ and Pajo Hyland defeater Gary Russell Jr. The American star would be an 8/15 favourite for this fight, while Frampton is a competitive 6/4 underdog. Here the draw is 20/1.

With the pair fighting on the same night, some have suggest Matchroom fan-favourite Josh Warrington as a potential opponent. Here Frampton would be a heavy 1/7 favourite, with the Leeds boxers a 4/1 outsider (draw 25/1).

If Frampton ever decides to a potentially financially-lucrative rematch with Englishman Scott Quigg he would be a 1/4 favourite. The ultra-determined Bury fighter would be 3/1 to cause the upset, and a draw is 22/1.

Finally, if Frampton ever engages in a Battle of the Jackals with super bantamweight champ Guillermo Rigondeaux he would start at 7/4 (in from 3/1 last week), with the Cuban stylist a 4/9 favourite (draw 20/1).
