Joe Fitzpatrick [7(4)-0] will return to the ring next month.
Just five weeks after his successful step up to six rounds on an MHD Promotions dinner show, ‘The Dragon’ will be in action again in his home city of Belfast.
The 22 year old lightweight southpaw will box on the big Queensberry Promotions card that is set for the refixed date of Friday March 10th at the Waterfront Hall in another six rounder against a to-be-confirmed opponent.
Fitzpatrick, who is promoted by Frank Warren, has fought once before on a Queensberry show, battling back from a knockdown to win a very tough four rounder with Jordan Ellison at the York Hall.
The card next month will be headlined by Commonwealth super flyweight champion Jamie Conlan against former world title challenger Yader Cardoza, and will also feature an Irish super featherweight title clash between Deco Geraghty and James Tennyson, and a BUI Celtic light welterweight fight between Tyrone McKenna and Jake Hanney. Other names on the card include Phil Sutcliffe Jr, Marco McCullough, Con Sheehan, Steven Ward, Paddy Barnes, and Lewis Crocker, as well as English fighters Troy Williamson and Kevin Satchell..
