New February fight dates confirmed

The fight dates for Irish fighters continue to come thick and fast as 2018 looks set to begin with a bang.

With four pro shows booked in for February, it promises to be a busy start to the year for Irish boxing and two more fighters have received dates for when they’ll be in action.

First up is Kildare super flyweight Eoin McGrath, who will make his professional debut in Dublin on Saturday February 3rd.

McGrath will feature on the SK Promotions ‘Collision Course’ bill at the Citywest and manager and trainer Stephen Kavanagh described how “Eoin was a very promising amateur, ready to make his mark on the pros.”

The lilywhite joins featherweight Liam Gaynor on the card, with more to be announced in the near future.

One week later we head to Belfast for ‘Danger at the Devenish 3.’

The Ginley Promotions bill is headlined by middleweight Conrad Cummings and also features Ger Healy, Sean Magee, Anto Upton, and Padraig McCrory.

This afternoon Dublin super featherweight southpaw Declan Geraghty [15(4)-2(1)] was confirmed for the bill.

The fight will be the Dubliner’s first since his impressive away win over Michael Roberts Jr and first since recovering from a hand injury that forced him out of a rematch with Jono Carroll in November.
