New addition to next Red Corner card

Another fighter has been confirmed for the next Red Corner Promotions card.

The Dublin outfit will run their fourth show – ‘Champions Elect’ – at the National Stadium on Saturday October 7th, and it has been this morning confirmed that Jake Best [4(0)-1(0)] will feature on the bill

The light middleweight hails from Dorset but has Irish roots. The 32 year old is promoted by Assassin, who share a strong working relationship with Red Corner.

Most recently, last month, Best claimed an entertaining win over game journeyman Aleksandar Chukaleyski

Red Corner said that “Jake is an exciting fighter who loves nothing more than getting involved in tear up. Entertainment and this fighter go hand in hand. Make sure you don’t miss this guy as no matter who he fights it’s going to be an absolute war.”

Best is joined on the ‘Champions Elect’ card by Irish champion and promotional stablemate Paddy McDonagh, debutant Karl Kelly, the return of Allan Phelan, Victor Rabei, a fight between super middleweights Vladimir Belujsky and Manny Bique, and a BUI Celtic title clash between Dublin’s Craig O’Brien and former Welsh champion Lee Churcher.
