Michael Devine has title fight cancelled

Michael Devine [14(4)-5(2)-1] got to let out some frustration at the weekend on the FS Promotions/Hatton Promotions ‘The Future’ show.

The Luton-Wexford lightweight defeated Vitalijs Usovs in what was meant to be a keep-busy fight ahead of his BBBoC Southern Area title clash with Floyd Moore.

However, Devine has learnt that champion Moore has withdrawn from the clash with a hand injury.

Devine took the news well, and promptly put on a show for those in attendance at the National Stadium, marking himself out as a fan-friendly addition to the Irish lightweight scene.

‘Chunky’ is confident that he will get his hands on Moore in the future, and can be consoled by a murmured Irish title fight with Belfast Paul Hyland Jr in the not too distant future.
