McGregor is just a phone call away from a Mayweather rematch

If Conor McGregor wants a rematch with Floyd Mayweather he just has to pick up the phone as ask.

That’s the opinion Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, who claims ‘Money’ would happily hand out an ‘ass-whooping’ to the two weight UFC champion again.
‘Notorious’ returned to boxing for the first time since his amateur days with Crumlin back in 2017 for a lucrative exhibition bout with the future Hall of Fame fighter.

The Dubliner was eventually stopped in round 10 of the event and returned to UFC thereafter.

However, speaking to motivational speaker Tony Robins recently the southpaw said he wants a repeat- and if the pair were to trade leather again McGregor is adamant he would emerge victorious.

“I would like to rematch him under boxing rules, again and I believe I would win.”

“Actually, there I go again with that fake humbleness I know I would win,” said McGregor.

When McGregor’s comments where put to Ellerbe by TMZ the CEO claimed Mayweather would only be too happy to oblige.

“That’s interesting. I hadn’t heard that but Conor McGregor knows he’s always welcome to that ass-whooping,” Ellerbe told TMZ Sports.

“I have the utmost respect for Conor, Dana, and those guys. If Conor McGregor wants some of that smoke again, he knows what he’s got to do.”

“He knows what he’s got to do,” Ellerbe continued. “All he’s got to do is call Dana. That’s all he has to do. I can’t speak for Floyd but I’ll tell you what, Conor McGregor, if he wants that ass-whooping again. I’m sure Floyd would oblige to that.”
