Luke Keeler to have February warm-up ahead of Conrad Cummings clash

Middleweight Luke Keeler [13(5)-2(1)] has secured a warm-up fight ahead of his all-Irish showdown with Conrad Cummings in April.

The Dubliner faces the Tyrone boxer on the big show at the SSE Odyssey Arena in April 21st, but will first prepare for this with a fight date in two weeks time. Keeler has this afternoon been confirmed for the SK Promotions ‘Collision Course’ bill at the Citywest Hotel in Saggart.

It will be the Ballyfermot boxer’s first fight since winning the Irish title last Summer when he edged out Roscommon’s Darren Cruise. Since then Keeler has undergone a lot of change, having corrective shoulder surgery to remedy a long-standing niggle as well as switching trainers from Paschal Collins to Pete Taylor and linking up with the MTK Global management stable.

Cummings [12(5)-1(0)-1] will also have a warm-up bout the following Saturday [February 10th] on the Ginley Promotions ‘Danger at The Devenish 3’ card in Belfast.

Keeler joins Gary Cully, Davey Oliver Joyce, Stevie Collins, Sean Creagh, Liam Gaynor, and debutant Eoin McGrath on the bill.

Tickets for Collision Course cost €35 (general) and €55 (ringside) and are available from the boxers on the show.
