Joe Fitzpatrick OFF Dublin MGM show

In some unfortunate news, rising Belfast hotshot Joe Fitzpatrick has been forced to withdraw from the MGM ‘Second Coming’ show in Dublin next month.

The 20 year old lightweight was due to make his television debut at the National Stadium on November 7th, but is forced to sit out after sustaining a hand injury in his most recent victory.

‘The Dragon’ stopped Peter Mellar on the Mark Dunlop-promoted ‘Champions at the Europa’ dinner show, but the Frank Warren prospect injured his hand in the opening round of the contest.

Jason McClory from Frank Warren Promotions announced the news, reasoning that “Joe has all the time in the world, he will have countless opportunities to showcase his talent over the coming years.”

“We want a deliverance of worth with no excuses attached when he boxes for us.”

‘Second Coming’ will be shown exclusively live on Boxnation on November 7th (Sky channel 437).
