Jason Quigley to relocate and change coach

Jason Quigley [13(10)-0] has made a big career move as he plots a return to action in 2018.

The Donegal middleweight has been out of action since injuring his right hand in March, but has recently returned to full training and it has been confirmed today that he will be relocating for the next stage of his career.

26 year old Quigley has left Manny Robles and The Rock Gym in Carson, California, and has teamed up with Dominic Ingle at the Ingle Gym in Sheffield alongside the likes of WBO middleweight champ Billy Joe Saunders.

The world-rated Ballybofey boxer will remain managed by Sheer Sports and promoted by Golden Boy.

Quigley will begin training with Ingle later this month ahead of a return to the ring on the U.S. East Coast in early 2018.

The European gold and World silver medalist said that ā€œI would like to thank Manny Robles and all the team in America who have helped get me where I am, unbeaten in 13 pro fights.ā€

ā€œIā€™m happy that I have the full backing of Sheer Sports Management and Golden Boy Promotions for the move.ā€
