Cahill upped the intensity in the second round as Goluch went into survival mode, and he almost had him gone in the closing seconds with a flurry of uppercuts on the inside.

Goluch finally hit the floor in the third following yet another furious barrage by ‘Chopper,’ Cahill went in for the finish, throwing everything at the journeyman who barely made it out of the round.,

The ultra-aggressive Cahill continued to press the action in the fourth and final round, and twice had Goluch stunned, but the tricky Pole managed to see the final bell.

Following four one-sided rounds, the final card read 40-35 in favour of Cahill.

The maiden victory allows the teenage talent to kick off his pro career at 1(0)-0, while Goluch falls to 4(2)-9(5) for his night’s work.
