Irish squad for ‘Mini World Championships’

The Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) have confirmed a seven-strong squad for the Pavlyukov Youth Memorial in Anapa, Russia next month.

Team Ireland will train and spar with the host country, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Scotland and a number of other nations at the Black Sea port before the competition begins on March 14th.

Team Ireland leave for Anapa on March 6th.

At last year’s tournament, Kieran Molloy won gold while Michael Nevin claimed bronze.
