Irish MTK trio have new fight dates confirmed

A trio of fighters managed by Mack The Knife Global have seen new fight dates announced recently.

First up is Lenadoon cruiserweight Tommy McCarthy [10(6)-1(0)] who has had his wish granted and will now feature on the big BT Sport ‘Frampton Reborn’ bill at the SSE Odyssey Arena on Saturday November 18th.

‘The Mac Attack’ returned from 11 months out at the weekend, obliterating Peter Hegyes inside a round. His fight next month is presumed to be another rust shaker before being thrust into the mix for domestic titles early next year.

The card next month features the return of Carl Frampton against Horacio Garcia, an IBF super flyweight title shot for Jamie Conlan against champion Jerwin Ancajas, a rematch between Declan Geraghty and Jono Carroll, WBO bantamweight champion Zolani Tete defending his belt against fellow South African Siboniso Gonya, an English super middleweight title fight between Darryll Williams and Lennox Clarke, as well as appearances from Paddy Barnes, Gary Cully, Steven Ward, David Oliver Joyce, Marco McCullough, Lewis Crocker, and Liverpool heavyweight Alex Dickinson.

In addition, the first two fighters have been confirmed for the Ginley Promotions ‘Danger at The Devenish 2’ bill at the Devenish Complex in Belfast on Friday December 1st.

Young promoter Mark Ginley’s third show of the year, it will feature the debut of Belfast super middle Taylor McGoldrick.

The former Holy Trinity amateur has linked up with Gerard McManus and said that ā€œI am looking forward to my first fight on December 1st and establish my name into the professional ranks. I am confident to make a statement with a noteworthy performance and to show what Iā€™m all about.ā€

Then there will also be an appearance from Steve Collins Jr [11(4)-1(0)-1]. ‘The Wolfhound’ featured on the Ginley Promo show last month, defeating Edgar Sniedze, and since then has spent some time training in California with the likes of Freddie Roach.

Ticket details and more fighters will be announced for the Ginley Promotions show in the near future.
