What time is Ryan Burnett v Nonito Donaire at? How do I watch?

Ryan Burnett [19(9)-0] defends his WBA bantamweight title tonight and looks to start off his World Boxing Super Series campaign.

The Belfast fighter takes on Filipino legend Nonito Donaire [38(24)-5(1)] at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow.

The WBSS quarter-final is the final fight of this stage and the winner tonight in Scotland will progress to a semi-final unification with South Africa’s WBO champ Zolani Tete – which looks set for Belfast if Burnett can pull off the win.

Standing in his way is veteran four-weight champ Donaire who, despite a storied history in the sport, comes into the bout as something of an unknown quantity having dropped down two weight divisions for the clash.

The bout, which was unable to take place in Belfast due to a lack of venues, is a co-feature with the WBSS light welter quarter-final between Edinburgh’s Josh Taylor and American Ryan Martin.

Naturally, Taylor is the main event and is expected into the ring at 10:00pm.

Burnett v Donaire is due to start at 9:00pm (Irish time)

There is no UK and Ireland broadcaster, yet, for the competition, but tonight’s fights will thankfully be streamed live on free on numerous platforms – with one such stream embedded below.

Viewers in America have access to the bout via the DAZN platform.
