IRISH super heavyweight champion Con Sheehan has become an exciting addition to the pro ranks.
The Clonmel big man didn’t weigh in to defend his Senior title this year and his absence is due to the fact he is joining the pro ranks.
The 25 year old indicated to local radio he felt he had accomplished all he could as an amateur and was ready to test himself as a pro.
The popular big man told TippFM Sport he is relishing the challenge of turning professional and while there is nothing signed, he has been talking to interested parties in America and England.
