Geraghty impresses the first time he was on TV since take me out appearance

Declan ‘Pretty Boy’ Geraghty often claims the camera loves him!

The Boxnation camera’s in the National Stadium on Saturday night certainly took a shine to the Dublin prospect, as the former Senior Champion put on a show against Dinars Skripkins at his old haunting ground.

The MGM fighter stopped the Lativan in three rounds and while victory was expected the manner in which it came about was impressive nonetheless.

The former Senior champion took his moment in the spot light and put on a show for the cameras.

A head clash opened a cut above the 25 year old’s eye early in the first round, but that head butt was the only thing the Lativan who came into the fight with two wins and two loses could land over the next six minutes.

The Dubliner played with his opponent  to take the opening two rounds in an easy on the eye manner. While he was similarly evasive in the third round he showed more aggression. A short right had .Skripkins on all fours seconds after a lovely left hook had done the real damage.

The traveling fighter was down again within seconds only for it to be ruled a slip. He was reacquainted with the canvas after another straight Geraghty left, but recovered to fight on.

Pretty Boy showed he has an ugly style, however, went for the kill and under a flurry of punches his opponent hit the turf again and the fight was called of 2:04 into the second round.
