Gennady Golovkin v Canelo Alvarez 2 RUNNING ORDER – When is Spike v Lemieux?

The biggest boxing card of the year takes place tonight in Las Vegas.

One year on from their controversial draw, and following a few more controversies in between, Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez will clash once again at the T-Mobile Arena

The pair will be in the ring by 4:00am (Irish time) at the latest but there is Irish interest beforehand

Cork’s Spike O’Sullivan will be aiming at the winner of the main event when he takes on Canadian former champ David Lemieux in a guaranteed phonebox war that is also a WBA final eliminator.

Two before the main event, O’Sullivan is due to fight at around 2:00am and this bout will lead into the chief support where Jaime Munguia puts the WBO light middleweight title, coveted by Dennis Hogan, on the line versus another Canadian in Brandon Cook.

The fights can be seen live, without pay-per-view, in Ireland on eir Sport 1, with the broadcast set to begin at 1:00am.
