Frampton praises The Jackal Army post Warrington defeat

A disappointed Carl Frampton took time to thank his loyal army of followers post his world title defeat to Josh Warrington.

Following the unsuccessful world title challenge the popular Belfast fighter claimed he wanted to ‘forget about boxing’ for a while, but the people’s champ was never going to forget his fans.

On the Sunday after the disapointing world title fight defeat – just the second of his career – ‘The Jackal’ took time out to praise his following.

The 31-year-old, who lost on points to IBF world champion Josh Warrington in Manchester, expressed his gratitude for their support and for taking the time to trave; to Manchester days shy of Christmas.

Frampton let ‘The Jackal Army’ know their support was heard on the night.

The former two-weight world champion also thanked his family and team during a series of Sunday tweets.
