Frampton confident of Turley win

Carl Frampton will grab his chance to shine and prove why he is deemed one of boxings brightest emerging talents with victory over Robbie Turley this Saturday night, according to Barry McGuigan.
McGuigan has been keen to tell anyone that will listen that Frampton has world title potential, but he is confident the Belfast novices actions in Cardiff this weekend will speak louder than any of his respected managers words. The former super featherweight world champion claimed his protg will make Britain sit up and take note with his display on the under card of Andy Murrays European title fight with Gavin Rees.
The Clones Cyclone confirmed Saturdays Celtic title fight doubles up as a British title eliminator and despite admitting Turley will prove awkward stressed The Jackal is out of the home fighters league. In fact according to his mentor, Frampton, who certainly hasnt been given the boxing cotton wool treatment, has already dispatched better fighters than his upcoming foe.
McGuigan claimed whilst this is the former amateur stand outs biggest paid fight to date it isnt his toughest.
This is Carls time to shine. He is live on Sky for the first time and he can impress a wider boxing audience. The wider British anmd Irish public will get the chance to see what he is made of and what we have been talking about for so long, McGuigan, who is currently promoting his book Cyclone My Story told Mirror Sport.
Robbie Turley isnt the best fighter to look good against but Carl is out of his league. Turley is awkward but Carl is class and has had another fantastic training camp. He is in great shape going into the biggest fight of his career. It certainly is his biggest fight yet but it wouldnt be his biggest test if we are honest. Carl has fought better in Yuri Voronin and Gavin Reid. We wanted Ian Nappa as he is a bigger name and stiffer test but the board gave Turley his chance
Under the Irish boxing legends guidance the fighter, who has yet to loose a round since ditching the head gear and vest, has put himself firmly on the British title trail and is on course to becoming one of the brightest stars on SKY.
Defeat Turley and he will be mandatory for the domestic strap and a big British title fight with either Jason Booth or fellow touted prospect Scott Quigg awaits.
We are not over looking Saturday night. We are focused on beating Turley, but the objective is to ensure Carl is British Champion by the end of the year. We want to be out again in the Summer and then fight for the title at the end of the Summer. We dont mind if its Scott Quigg or Jason Booth.
