news out of Turkey suggests Joe Ward was the wrong end of a home town decision.

Did anyone see the fight?

do you think Joe will go Pro???

Roberys in boxing are all but coming part of the game and accepted.. Like before fighters went there the talk was of avoiding the turks- obv in the knowledge that there was a potentail of a dodgy decision..

Now how is that acceptable- i think our asoc should kick up a fuss- this has to be sorted for the good of boxing

Well to be hones having seen the lack of action by the IABA after the finals of the European Youths in Dublin . When our own boxer was clearly robbed in the final at 69k. It is my gut feeling that the powers that be , seem to not want to ruffle feathers higher up in the pecking order. Yes they will put in a protest, and look for this wild card that is being bandied about . But i just think that is all they will do. they are probably taking the stance , we dont want to jeopardise the chances of our already qualified boxers . And of course the chances of Katie Taylor next month in China
