Fitzgerald to face Hall defeater Alexey Ribchev

ANTHONY Fitzgerald will trade leather with Bulgarian champion Alexey Ribchev in Hove on February 25.

‘The Pride’s’ first fight in just under a year see’s him pitted against a fighter who can boast a win over former Commonwealth champion and European title challenger Matthew Hall.

Granted Manchester’s Hall may not have produced the kind of early career form that saw him tipped to make an impression at world level when he faced the Bulgarian, but Ribchev stills present WBA World top 15 ranked, Fitzgerald with a challenge.

Ribchev(12-2-1) is on a three fight win streak and comes into the bout on the back of his unexpected reverse over Hall.
