Feile an Phobail #MTKFightNight weigh in results

Michael Conlan looked in sensational shape as he weighed in for his showdown with Diego Alberto Ruiz on tomorrow’s massive #MTKFightNight at Feile an Phobail.

Conlan [11(6)-0] faces Ruiz [21(10)-2(0)] in front of a sold out crowd in Belfast’s Falls Park, live on BT Sport in association with Queensberry Promotions and live on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank.

A huge crowd was in attendance for the weigh-in, with Conlan tipping the scales at 125.6 lbs, while Ruiz was slightly lighter at 124.8 lbs ahead of their WBO Intercontinental and WBA Intercontinental featherweight title bout.

There is a brilliant undercard too, which includes Paddy Gallagher’s fight with Chris Jenkins for the British and Commonwealth welterweight titles. Gallagher was bang on the weight at 147 lbs, with Jenkins weighing 146.4 lbs.

A crucial middleweight battle also takes place between Luke Keeler and Luis Arias. The fight was made at 162 lbs, with Keeler coming in at 161.1 lbs, and Arias 161.5 lbs.

Rising star Sean McComb is on the card as well, facing the always exciting Renald Garrido. McComb weighed 142 lbs, and Garrido was slightly heavier at 143 lbs.

An intriguing fight pits together Padraig McCrory and Steve Collins Jr for the BUI Celtic super-middleweight title. Unbeaten McCrory weighed 167.1, and Collins Jr was 167.1 lbs. There were initial concerns that Dubliner Collins may not make the weight, but the former cruiserweight operator came in the same weight as the natural super middle.

A stacked card also features Alfredo Meli vs. Araik Marutjan, Olympic hero Paddy Barnes, Dennis McCann, Callum Bradley, Sean Duffy and Dee Sullivan.
