Dublin bantamweight secures London debut date


‘Dreamhills’ Prince Brady has finally learnt his debut date, and the Dublin bantamweight will make his pro bow in one of boxing’s historic venues.

It has been confirmed that the London-based boxer will make his debut at the York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday November 25th.

The Steve Goodwin-managed fighter will start of on the Violent Engagement card in London in just under seven weeks time.

The Skerries boxer announced his intention to turn pro during the Summer and had hoped for a September debut, but was subject to delays.

The 23 year old was born in Zimbabwe, but spent much of his childhood in North Dublin, boxing out of Bracken BC, before relocating to London and the West Ham club. In the pros he is trained by former British super bantamweight champion Matthew Marsh.

The bumper Goodwin card next month also features Kyle McCarthy, Charlie Wynn, Yaser Al Ghena, Angela Hebden, Brandon Ball, Sam Cox, Lewis Syrett, DJ Wright, Brandon Thomson, Jack Hughes, Marcus Eaton, Robert Asagba, Jez Smith, Diego Burton, Joe McCory, Jumanne Camero. Justin Menzie v Nathan Weise, Wadi Camacho v Jose Lopes, and Darrell Church v Jordan Joseph.
