Details of Carl Frampton’s next fight to be revealed at closed-to-the-public press conference

Carl Frampton‘s return to the ring will be officially confirmed tomorrow morning.

The Belfast featherweight last week confirmed a link-up with veteran promoter Frank Warren, and a press conference tomorrow will officially reveal details of his next fight.

The press conference takes place at Belfast’s Ulster Hall tomorrow at 11am.

The event is closed to the public and restricted to media only.

It is widely expected that Frampton [23(14)-1(0)] will return on a card at the SSE Odyssey Arena on Saturday November 18th.

‘The Jackal,’ who has not fought since losing his WBA title to Leo Santa Cruz in January, has noted that the fight will be more of a tune-up, although still against a solid name, ahead of a return to massive fights in 2018.

WBO bantamweight champion Zolani Tete [25(20)-3(1)] of South Africa will feature on the undercard.

A big fight for Frampton’s new Queensberry stablemate Jamie Conlan [19(11)-0] is also expected to be announced.

The super flyweight is ranked #3 with the WBO [champion Naoya Inoue] and #5 with the IBF [champion Jerwin Ancajas], and teased an announcement on social media last night.

Other MTK fighters that have promised big announcements soon include Lewis Crocker, Declan Geraghty, and Jono Carroll.
