Details of MGM’s second Dublin show – and possible third date!

MGM Promotions have today confirm that they will run a second televised show in Dublin’s National Stadium in conjuction with Boxnation TV and Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions.

The Dublin show will take place on Saturday November 7th in the famous South Circular Road venue and follows on from the “New Beginning” show on July 4th which saw Belfast super flyweight Jamie Conlan rise from the canvas twice to defeat Junior Granados in a Fight of the Year shoo-in.

Eagle-eyed readers may recall that, on Tuesday, irish-boxing.com reported on speculation that MGM would be returning to the capital on November 7th.

The boxing rumour mill contends that Dublin lightweight Jamie Kavanagh will headline the show – which will also feature all-Irish fights between Ian Tims and Michael Sweeney, as well as Peter McDonagh and Dean Byrne. However, these whispers have yet to be confirmed

The boxers that will feature on the show and ticket information will be officially announced shortly – along with the tantilising snippet of info that there is the “possibility of a further date in December.”
