‘Danger at The Devenish 3’ headliner announced

Ginley Promotions have this evening confirmed three fighters, including the headliner, for their upcoming ‘Danger at The Devenish 3’ bill in Belfast.

The young outfit return to The Devenish Complex on Saturday February 10th for their fourth consecutive show, looking to build on the extremely entertaining ‘Danger at The Devenish 2’ card last month.

Tonight it has been announced that Tyrone middleweight Conrad Cummings [12(5)-1(0)-1] will top the bill in West Belfast.

‘Mr. Dynamite’ was one of three fighters announced alongside light welterweight Anto Upton [15(6)-1(0)] and middleweight Ger Healy [6(0)-4(1)]

26 year old Cummings featured on the previous bill, returning to the ring after eight months out to outpoint Norbert Szekeres.

He will headline here as he continues to adjust to new coach Jamie Moore and builds towards big fights – with an all-Irish clash with Luke Keeler rumoured for April 14th.

Upton is in a very similar boat, and claimed two wins at the end of last year which should set him up for big, testing fights – whether it be on this bill or on either of the big April arena shows.

Healy returns to the ring after nine and a half months out.

The Immanuel Boxing Academy man had been preparing for a Celtic Nations title fight with Sean McGlinchey in October, but this fight would fall through.

‘Boom Boom’ had hoped to box in Ireland’s Last Man Standing but wasn’t one of the eight announced yesterday. Regardless though, he gets his 2018 up and running early as he looks to get some momentum and big fights.

The trio join Padraig McCrory and Sean Magee on the bill in just over a months time – with more still to be announced.
