Could we be building up to Steve Collins v Chris Eubank III

Their fathers traded blows in twice in fights that hold legendary status in Irish sport, but it seems Chris Eubank and Steve Collins Jr are targeting a third instalment of the Collins Eubank rivalry.

The Celtic Warrior twice inflicted defeat on in 1995 first dethroning the then WBO champion in Millstreet before winning a Pairc Ui Chaoimh rematch and it seems Eubank Jr wants revenge.

He took to twitter to call out Collins Jr and the pro rugby player come boxer seems willing to make a fight further down the line. In terms of boxing development Collins Jr is a good bit behind the undefeated Eubank Jr (13-0). The Dubliner only took up the sport last year and boasts no amateur background so understandably indicated a clash with the Hennessey sports puncher wouldn’t be an immediate target.

The pair exchanged the following verbal blows on Twitter:

@StevieCollinsJR so you say you would come down to super middleweight to fight me. I think you’re all talk, you don’t have the balls son.
