Conlan to make Team Deutschland WSB debut this Saturday

London 2012 bronze medallist Michael Conlan will line out for Germany in his first World Series of Boxing (WSB) outing of the season on Saturday.
Team Deutschland meet the Astana Arlans of Kazakhstan, the defending WSB champions, in Hanau, Germany in the first leg of the quarter-finals play offs.
Conlan is in against Kazakh southpaw Meirbolat Toitov over five rounds.
Germany qualified for the last-eight by virtue of finishing third in Group A. The Arlans finished in second spot in Group B.
Paddy Barnes’ Italia Thunder are away to the Baku Fires of Azerbaijan at the weekend. Click here for quarter-final match ups.
David Oliver Joyce is also with Team Germany this season. The line ups for the second-leg matches will be announced after this weekend.
