CONFIRMED: Carl Frampton’s new promoter

After weeks of speculation, it has been this morning confirmed.

Carl Frampton [23(14)-1(0)] has announced his new promoter who will replace Cyclone Promotions for the next stage of his career.

In a much-hype announcement, Frampton revealed in his weekly column for the Sunday Life that has signed a promotional deal with Frank Warren and Queensbury Boxing.

Frampton will therefore have his fights shown on BoxNation and BT Sport and has the potential for some big Belfast nights alongside former Cyclone stablemate and current fellow Warren fighter Jamie Conlan alongside a number of Irish MTK fighters that have appeared on the channel in recent months.

Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Promotions and a number of unnamed suitors had all also been after ‘The Jackal’ but he has plumped for veteran Warren.

30 year old Frampton enjoyed a relationship with Warren earlier in his career, fighting Jeremy Parodi, Hugo Cazares, and winning the IBF super bantamweight world title against Kiko Martinez all on the BoxNation platform.

An announcement on Frampton’s next fight will come during the week.

Since his split with the McGuigan family last month, Frampton has brought in Jamie Moore as a trainer and Mack The Knife Global as advisers.
