Celtic Clash 4 update – Two in, Two out

There have been some changes to the line-up for the Celtic Clash 4 card which takes place on Saturday December 2nd.

Two fighters have been added to the bill at the National Stadium, with two others dropping off the bill.

Bray flyweight Regan Buckley [2(0)-0] and Killinarden light welter Sean Creagh [6(2)-1(1)] will now no longer feature on the marathon bill, but Jobstown middleweight Thomas Finnegan [2(0)-0] and inner-city light middleweight Craig O’Brien [6(0)-0] have been added.

‘Victorious’ Finnegan will feature in a four rounder, his third fight of 2017 and his first since linking up with Tony Davitt – who co-promotes the bill with Boxing Ireland Promotions.

BUI Celtic champion O’Brien will fight over six rounds. The Red Corner promoted fighter won the belt earlier this month against Alain Alfred, and his appearance on a Celtic Clash bill is an encouraging sign of co-operation between two of the major promotional outfits in Dublin.

With more still to be announced, the current fighter count for the bill is 14.

Alongside O’Brien and Finnegan, there will also be appearances for John Joyce, Jake Hanney, Anto Cacace, Stephen McAfee, Michael Gallagher, James Cahill, Martin Quinn, Dylan McDonagh, Colin O’Donovan, and Niall O’Connor, and headliners Crank Whitehouse and Eric Donovan.

Tickets for the bill costing €30, €40, €60, and €100 go on sale this week and will be available from the fighters involved or from Ticketmaster.

A limited number of U-16s tickets are also available at €15 (Must be bought alongside adult ticket).
