Callum Bradley ready to show why he is a future bill topper

Callum Bradley [2(0)-0] is planning to put in the kind of performance that will show fight fans just why he will one day be topping stadium bills of his own.

The Tyrone fighter secured a coveted slot on the massive #MTKFightNight set for the Féile an Phobail on Saturday- and whilst he is excited at the prospect of appearing on such a card he is also has his sights set on topping bills of equal size in the future.

It’s a bold enough statement from the young prospect, but one he plans to someway back up on the Michael Conlan undercard.

Bradley is planning to show his potential by winning ‘in style’ on the ESPN+ and BTSport broadcast card.

“Without a doubt I will be topping bills in Ireland just like Michael is now,” Bradley told Irish-boxing.com before discussing his third pro fight.

“I’m fighting a tough South American Jose Hernandez. He’s a tough fighter, but I plan on putting on another great performance for the fans and getting the win in style.”

The teen fighter virtually won a golden ticket in securing a slot on the stacked card and anticipated event.

A host of MTK fighters were desperate to appear and showcase their skills in front of a potential 10,000 plus card as well as massive TV audience – and the 19-year-old is excited to be one of the chosen ones.

” I’m really excited for Saturday night I just can’t wait to get to the venue and see it all. To be on such a big card this early on in my career is unreal. I wasn’t surprised but i’m just grateful for the opportunity MTK have gave me,” he adds before surmising why he may have pipped some more experienced fighters to a slot on the card.
“I haven’t been given an indication why I’ve got the slot, but i think after my first two performances as a professional I deserve this chance on a big card. I’ve put on two good performances and have sold lots of tickets.”
