Belfast bar sings ‘Sweet Caroline’ to Carl Frampton


Carl Frampton [23(14)-1(0)] is currently taking some time out from fighting following what he has described as “the worst week of my professional career.”

‘The Jackal’ missed out on a Belfast homecoming fight last weekend after intended opponent Andres Gutierrez suffered a freak injury the night before the fight which saw the entire card cancelled.

Frampton, after apologising profusely to fans, spent much of this week with his family as well as opening the new child cancer care rooms at the Royal Belfast Hospital.

This evening Frampton is spending some time in his favorite pub, The Harp Bar in Belfast city centre.

Known for its live music, the opportunity for a Jackal-themed sing-a-long couldn’t be passed up, and Frampton was serenaded with ‘Sweet Caroline’ – one of ‘The Jackal Army’s’ many anthems.
