Aaron Nunan made the perfect start to life at his new club scoring as Ballynanty accounted for promoted opposition.

Rovers traveled to top flight new boys Prospect Priory on the opening day of the Limerick season and came away with a two goal win and three points.

Michael Guerin found the net and opened for the side that finished third last season.

The man who finished third in the goal scoring charts last season and won the title with Janesboro then found the net against the side the reigning second tier champions.

Aaron Nunan scored on his debut to double the advantage and it remained that way until the 90 minute.
