Another American win for busy Nevin

John Joe Nevin made it two wins in ten days last night at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana.

The 2012 Olympic silver medalist comprehensively outpointed Greg Coverson Jr over six rounds, less than two weeks after his points win over DeWayne Wisdom in Virginia.

The win sees Nevin move to 7(4)-0 as a pro after four fights in less than three months, while Coverson Jr drops to 3(2)-15(3)-3.

Nevin, now under the guidance of influential U.S. advisor Cameron Dunkin, will look to continue his high level of activity as he seeks to build experience and a fanbase stateside.
