Alfredo Meli secures return to the ring

The next professional show to take place in Ireland has seen the addition of a seventh fighter.

Kieran Farrell Promotions run their second show at the Devenish Complex in Belfast on Friday October 6th, and the bill will now feature local middleweight Alfredo Meli [13(3)-0-1].

The card on the Finaghy Road has suffered a number of pull-outs recently, but has been replenished over the past few days by Irish management company Mack The Knife Global.

First super featherweight Jono Carroll was added to the bill and is now joined by Immaculata’s Meli.

It is a return to the ring for the 27 year old who took a short break this Summer to get married.

Before this Meli had fought in Belfast in March, also at the Devenish, where he outpointed Laszlo Fazekas over six.

The busy southpaw will be looking now to be kept busy in terms of fights as he looks to return to domestic title contention.

The card in just over two weeks time will be headlined by super middleweight Padraig McCrory who takes on South African provincial champion Jade Karam, and also features appearances from Mark Morris, Dylan Moran, Mathew Fitzsimons, and Sean Creagh.

Tickets cost £25 (standing), £35 (seated), and £55 (ringside), and are available from the boxers involved.
