5 Ground Shaking Boxing Bouts the World Needs in 2019

Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Tommy Hearns, Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao, Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier and Mike Tyson vs. Lennox Lewis. If you are a true boxing enthusiast, you already have an idea this is about the greatest boxing fighters and boxing duels in history. Well, boxing is enjoying the best moments in recent times and this great revival is due to the presence of some of the world’s best boxers all in fighting mode.

From Vasyl Lomachenko, Manny Pacquiao, Terence Crawford, Errol Spence Jr. Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, Mikey Garcia to Anthony Joshua, there’s no dearth of boxing talent in the world right now. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of politics involved in organizing fights and boxing lovers haven’t enjoyed the action they would love.

Well, the following are some of the fights every boxing fan would like to see happen in 2019. Take a look:

  • Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury Rematch

It’s not every day that boxing lovers ask for a rematch but now that the unified champion, Anthony Joshua, doesn’t look like he will fight these two guys any time soon, the world would like to see a rematch. Wilder wasn’t at his best on Dec. 1 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and Fury was just from a sabbatical. Right now, the two fighters are in different form and the boxing world would like to see their true colors.

  • Anthony Joshua Vs. Deontay Wilder

Now, if there’s a fight that has frustrated boxing lover, it has to be Anthony Joshua Vs. Deontay Wilder. You see, everyone agrees they need to fight and even the boxers know they have to settle this once for all but it never seems to happen.

The fight is a topic in many circles from those enjoying domino qiu qiu  to TV analysis. The negotiations seem to take forever but there’s a glimmer of hope now that Wilder has declared he is a broadcast free agent. Eddie Hearn who is Antony Joshua’s promoter has offered to sign the American to make the fight a reality with tentative dates for May/June/July.

  • Errol Spence Jr. Vs. Terence Crawford

Now, boxing fans once and again have to watch fights they would rather not unlike what happens in other sports. For instance, Errol Spence will fight Mikey Garcia on March 16th but the fight most fans would rather watch is between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford.

Things seem to be looking up with the news of a welterweight unification bout. Top Rank, which promotes Crawford, is to make a proposal to Errol Spence making the possibility of this thrilling higher.

  • Jaime Munguia Vs. Jarrett Hurd

With Jermell Charlo’s win against Tony Harrison in December 2018, it looks like the fight between Jermell and IBF and WBA champion Jarrett Hurd wouldn’t happen. But Jarret Hurd can still fight one of the most exciting Mexican boxers right now, Jaime Munguia, in a unification bout for several titles. This would be a thrilling fight.

  • Canelo Alvarez Vs. Gennady Golovkin III

There’s an understandable grudge between these two as Gennady Golovkin III feels he won their two blockbuster pay-per-view fights.  A third bout isn’t something boxing lovers want but with Golovkin now 37, maybe it is right to give him a chance to prove his point.

As you await some of the great boxing duels, go ahead and enjoy the best game of domino qiu qiu online and make some money while at it.
