Wexford-native Nolan, who boxes out of the Bray BC, goes into the ring looking to follow up on John Joe Nevin’s and Irish team captain Darren O’Neill’s wins at the ExCel yesterday.

Nevin and O’Neill earned convincing last-32 decisions over Denmark and Nigeria to get Ireland’s campaign off to a perfect start on Saturday.

Nolan, if he advances from tonight’s contest, will meet either Qing Maitituersun Mai of China or Russia’s Andrey Zamkovoy in the last-16 on August 3rd.

The Irish squad will have a training session at 5pm today.
