Living for London Documentary
Setanta will broadcast its “Living for London” documentary on the IABA’s High Performance Unit and the 2012 Olympic qualifiers in Trabzon earlier this year on July 19th (10pm).
Adam Nolan and Paddy Barnes, a bronze medal winner at the 2008 Olympics, qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London in the Turkish city in April, Nolan winning gold into the bargain.
The Irish duo joined Darren O’Neill, John Joe Nevin and Michael Conlan – who qualified for the 30th Olympiad from the 2011 AIBA World Championships in Azerbaijan – on the Irish squad for London 2012.
Katie Taylor qualified for the XXX Olympiad at the 2012 AIBA World Women’s Championships in China.
Setanta’s July 19th documentary will be preceded by a feature on boxers and athletes from various other sports qualifying for the Olympics at 9pm.
